EMTS offers several dynamic services to our healthcare clients. In general, these services are designed to reduce the costs associated related to capital equipment acquisition and service contract activities (capital equipment acquisition, installation, relocation, maintenance, parts, warranty, upgrades, leases - any equipment related cost estimated to be in excess of $5,000), with the exception of our Equipment Valuation Services (EVS).

The EMTS SENTRY Service is a performance-based program that lowers healthcare capital equipment related costs. Utilizing this service, the EMTS customer is responsible for due diligence up to and including vendor quote solicitation. EMTS involvement is based upon these efforts. The goals of EMTS are to identify, qualify, negotiate with and solicit proposals from the vendor marketplace. EMTS will also contact and further negotiate with the original vendor. EMTS deliverables include a detailed savings report listing complete vendor information and their competitive quotes. The EMTS customer always has final vendor selection.
The EMTS RECON Service is a cost reduction program specifically targeted at lowering the ongoing operational costs for a facility’s existing service contracts. Working jointly with the client, EMTS obtains copies of all existing service agreements. EMTS then reviews and compares the specifics of these contracts to best pricing nationally from our Price Paid Database. If there is a significant opportunity for savings, EMTS with then work directly with the client’s vendors (OEM’s, ISO’s, etc.) to secure new contracts for an extended term. Deliverables include a complete listing of all active agreements, a price comparison of the clients pricing verses nation’s best, and if applicable, new “master agreements” from the clients vendors.
Equipment Valuation Services – There are many reasons why healthcare organizations may need to put a value on their capital equipment. The end of a fair market value lease, updated equipment/asset inventory, the pending purchase of another facility, etc. EMTS can provide this service as an independent/unbiased resource to our clients, on a per project or hourly basis. Fair market value, liquidation value, insurance replacement cost, equipment inventory appraisals, etc.
