Welcome to EMTS – Equipment Management & Technology Solutions. We appreciate you taking the time to visit our website and investigate the services we provide to healthcare organizations across the country.

The simple intent of the services we provide to our partner facilities is to dramatically reduce the amount of money they spend on equipment acquisitions and service contracts without having any impact to current hospital operations or level of patient care. On the average, we save our partner facilities roughly 8%-12% annually (from their final vendor quote).

Over the last decade, we have truly seen an evolution of companies/services in this industry. In most circumstances, hospitals are no longer willing to accept the older, more traditional services of maintenance insurance or asset management. This traditional type of business model has too many financial and operational risks, both for hospitals and their vendors. Also, the “savings” these types of companies forecast are blue sky only. They do not reflect equipment additions/deletions, non-covered events, additional equipment downtime, etc.

At EMTS, we feel (as do our customers!) that we have an absolutely bulletproof business model. First and foremost, our services generate hard, quantifiable savings. Each project is individually documented and reported. Second, EMTS does not make Operational decisions for our facilities, that control stays where it should, with the healthcare provider. Third, existing vendor relationships stay very strong, as all vendor control/authority is again, retained by the healthcare provider. Finally, EMTS provides the valuable resources of time, focus, and expertise to drive down the costs of all capital equipment related events.

"I must admit that I was somewhat apprehensive at first, as the business model is based upon EMTS bouncing the pricing you negotiate against a variety of national data bases for comparison purposes, then re-engaging the supplier if additional savings is available. Materials Management staff naturally feel threatened by this initially. However, once "pride" is set aside, they truly provide a great value in providing savings that would have otherwise been unattainable. It is virtually risk-free. EMTS does not bill any fees unless they are able to negotiate savings above and beyond what you are able to do on you own.
